Breast Cancer Update:

So, I received my first chemo treatment on Monday.  I didn’t really know what to expect.  All I was told was that I’d feel week & puke my guts out.  Well, it is now Thursday and I haven’t puked yet.  They put me on 3 different anti nausea meds, so I’m sure that helped.  I’ve been extremely tired though.  During the chemo treatment, the oncologist lectured me about how my  PICC Line needed to be cleaned (which is beyond anything I can do) hooked the tubes up to it and let the chemo fun time action begin!  Here’s a photo of my PICC line:

I find this device highly annoying.  I’ll have to keep it in my arm until I’m finished with the chemo treatment.  So until then, I can no longer emerge this arm under water.  No more swimming & I have to put a bag over my arm every time I have to shower or bathe.  Awesome…  And  now all I have to look forward to is just having all of my hair fall out!

Breast Cancer Updates, Donations, Kink.com, Etc.

Breast Cancer Update:

So, I know it’s been a while since my last update.  Not a whole lot has really gone on though.  I mean, things have obviously been going on but, has been a bit slow with the doctors.  I went in for a bone scan on the 6th, a CT scan over the past weekend, and had a PICC Line put in my right arm a couple of days ago.  Here’s a photo:

I finally received my results from my bone and CT scan.  Everything came back negative!!  I’m so relieved by this.  I mean, this whole process is still going to suck balls, but it could have been a whole lot worse.  I also found out that I start my chemo treatment on Monday.  I was warned by my doctor that even with all of the nausea meds, I’m still going to be hurling for several days.  My dear friend Juliette Stray told me (she came with for my doctor visit) that I’m going to be a puke princess.  I should have her make me a tiara.  A purple one.  To match my PICC line of course :) .

Breast Cancer Update, Donations, Etc…

Not much of a breast cancer update this week.  However, (over the weekend) I met up with my oncologist to go over my chemotherapy info.  I assumed that I’d be on it this week, but I still haven’t recieved any word.  That really worries me.  I feel like I haven’t got a lot of answers still.  I have to go in for a bone scan early tomorrow morning to make sure the cancer hasn’t spread to my bones.  I really hope that that will not be the case.

Chicago to Cleveland to Providence

So, we just got into Providence last night.  We got our first hotel room on this road trip and I have my OWN bed!

So, these past 5 or 6 days have been a bit insane, as usual.  There is video, but it hasn’t been posted yet.  I’ll let everyone know when the latest clips are up on MandyMitchell’sxxx Channel.

So, let’s start where I last left off.  Saturday night, I ended up taking the L and heading over to the 1901 Gallery to see one of my closest friends Steven Leyba’s latest documentary What Is Art?  Here’s a teaser for the film:

I’ve seen Steven’s film before.  I’ve seen it several times actually, but this was the first time that I had ever seen it from start to finish.  I was very impressed.  Steven is a very amazing individual and I’m fortunate to have someone like him in my life :) .  The next morning, I was woken up to the sweet sound of Gigi Deluxe, who was calling me at 8a.m.  She picked me up and took me to her pad for breakfast.  I love it when my friends cook for me, but I REALLY love it when Gigi does.  I hadn’t seen her in 3 fucking years, so it was nice to catch up with her.  Soon after, Mandy Mitchell and Sarah came to pick me up and we split Chicago.  Our next destination, Cleveland.

I’ve always heard terrible things about Cleveland.  Actually, I was supposed to move there when I was 17, but I pretty much told my mom to fuck off, so that didn’t happen (my mom is a terrible person).  My reason for this stop, was to see my friend Eric Freeman.  He just purchased this amazing space, The House of Wills.  Mandy and I originally wanted to shoot some porn there, but things happened, people couldn’t show up, so we just ended up hanging out with Eric and had him give us (what I’d like to believe) the best tour possible of Cleveland (he even drove us around in his hearse).  The House of Wills is fucking amazing.  I can’t believe one of my friends owns a space like this.  It looks like a major project, but I can’t wait to see what Eric has in store for this place.  It has major potential.  We spent a good hour and a half walking around there.  Next stop was Big Fun Toy Store.  We showed up pretty much close to closing, but the store was great.  I always love walking around an antique toy store and seeing things I used to have as a child.  And things I would have lost my mind over if I would have had it as a child.  I’m so glad we showed up close to closing, or else I would have blown a lot of money there.  After that, we wandered around a Halloween costume shop and then headed back to Eric’s.  I love his pad.  Well, with the exception of all of the fucking mannequins he has scattered about the place, but other than that, love it!  After hours of conversation and dinner (Eric knows how to fucking cook!) we finally passed out and woke up early the next morning for Providence.

On our way to Providence, we decided to stop off at a few places.  The first one was the Bat Factory!  The video clip of this is hilarious.  We thought this would be something mildly entertaining.  Only made it to the parking lot and decided to split.  It looked a little creepy.  Possibly rapey creepy.  Plus, they have a lot of bats.  So, we wouldn’t have a chance against defending ourselves from the potential bat factory rapists.

Next stop, was the Knoebles Amusement Resort.  They closed 2 days before we showed up, but we were still able to walk around and look at stuff.

After that short trip, we went to the city of Centralia, PA.  That place is creepy.  It’s pretty much what you’d consider a ghost town, but there are no remains left of what this town once was.  Maybe a few sidewalks and a cemetery.  That’s about it.  We have video from it, but it’s kinda boring because there’s nothing there so, we might not even post it.

We headed straight to Providence after that.  Got some food on the east side, got our hotel room and I haven’t left our room ever since.  I’m very content with not going anywhere at the moment because this is the first time on our trip that I’ve had to myself.  Mandy is off doing dialogue for some robot tranny porn feature.  I find that rather entertaining and hilarious.  She does not…  I think we’re gonna be hanging out here for one more day before we head down to NYC.  Mandy and I are going to be shooting for K is for Kink while we’re there.  We’re going to be co domming some male sub.  Can’t wait!  I love any chance I can get to double team with her.

2nd Night in Chicago – Clowns!

It was an amazing night seeing everyone in Chicago at once again.  It’s been almost 3 years since the last time we’ve all hooked up.  Mandy and Sarah eventually showed up too which was awesome.  I was able to introduce all of my close friends to each other.  It was an excellent fucking night.  Can’t wait to check out Steven’s art tonight and run into other friends that I haven’t seen in years.  Chicago has been an amazing trip so far.
