Breast Cancer Update:
I know, I’ve been slacking on my updates. A lot has been going on. Last Tuesday, I went in for my doctor’s appointment with my friends Laura and January Seraph. I’m so thankful that they did. I ended up meeting with my doctor, my surgeon and my reconstructive surgeon. Needless to say, I had a lot of info thrown at me that day and the two of them really helped me out. So here’s what’s going on this week:
Today, I went in for blood work.
Tomorrow (Wed.) I have a pre surgery appointment with my doctor and surgeon.
Monday morning, I’ll be going in for my mastectomy.
For most of Monday, I’ll have either January or Laura take over my twitter account, to give an hourly update on how things are going that day. You can follow me on twitter HERE.
After the operation, I’ll have so time for my body to rest. Then, it’s 5 weeks of radiation 5 days a week for 5 min. a day. Once that is over with, I’ll have a break for my body to rest again and then I’ll go back in for reconstructive surgery. The doctors are saying that I will be fully recovered by December. Like I’ve said many times before, I knew this year was going to be one giant process of suckage.

Since I’m going to be spending most of my time at home and unable to work on chemotherapy, I thought I’d pick out stuff that would be helpful or entertaining. If you are in Los Angeles and you ever need a ride to the doctor or some humorous support, I’d be glad to help. I know what a nightmare cancer is. Laughter will get you thru this. You might get a kick out of this … did you know an adult performer named Samantha Strong ? Back during the O.J. Simpson murder trial, I hoaxed the media by pretending that I had a school where I taught the Ancient Art of Cat Yoga (turban wearing house cats who sit in the Lotus position and meditate) I claimed that I was also engaged to marry Rosa Lopez, the maid from El Salvador as she was known after she testified in Judge Ito’s court. This ridiculous story got me on the Geraldo Rivera show and international media coverage. Vanity Fair magazine wrote about the engagement monthly. I kept changing the story to get more media and Vanity Fair wrote that Rosa Lopez dumped me because she was allergic to the cats at my Cat Yoga school. I contacted Samantha Strong and convinced her to pretend to be the “other woman” and Inside Edition interviewed her. Vanity Fair also wrote about her and mentioned her latest X rated film. I came forward and admitted I was really a comedian and Jeffrey Toobin, the CNN legal journalist wrote a book – The Run Of His Life, The People v O.J. Simpson and he mentioned my hoax on page # 311.
